I'm wrapping up Day 4 of chemo and it's been an energy filled beautiful Easter Sunday. As I've posted on Facebook, it's felt like a Resurrection kind of day. My good brother Christopher Lespisto, ND and I wanted to update the Blog with some talk on the process of turning unknowns into choices and the holistic approach we are incorporating into my care, both now and in the future. Plus, we just had a good laugh and ya'll can see how upbeat things are. Enjoy!
Leukemia, Crohn's and Alternatives. The journey started at age two with Ulcerative Colitis and since, many major surgeries and the removal of my colon, spleen and gall bladder. I've had a J-pouch and now a permanent ileostomy, a Crohn's diagnosis followed by Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I've seen and experienced the traditional, the holistic and the far out. I am using this blog as a forum to inform, educate, entertain and as a personal healing tool. I hope my journey offers you something worthwhile.
Fundraising Countdown
The support and fundraising that has happened on my behalf has touched my heart and has made alternative cancer treatment a possibility for me. Donations continue to be my primary funding for healthy food, supplements, living expenses and medical bills. You guys are ridiculous. You put music on right there in the background?? You are too much.
Keep up that powerful active healing. I'm so glad you're taking the best of all possible therapies!
I'm thrilled and in awe of the spirit behind the mask. I think of you often with such fondness. You have penetrated the membrane of the fearful morphic field of the cancer world. Here's to ongoing healing, forever love, standing in the knowing that you are whole.
I was at a tasty brunch this Easter with many of OUR friends, and am not quite sure how I haven't met you. :) There was a lot of love for you there, as was apparent in the community art project that Sarah Q made happen and Nicole brought to you. All the best to you for peaceful, quick healing. xo
